Fosterling is rescue software for intake, fosters, adoptions and donors, with a free public lost & found for everyone else.
How it started
It started with a French bulldog who went missing. Looking for a lost pet meant checking site after site, with nothing tying them together.
So Tori built Fosterling to pull lost-pet information in from across the internet and put it in front of one search. That original search is still the heart of Fosterling today, and it is still free for anyone who has lost or found a pet.
The rescues on the other end of those reports needed something too: one calm place for intake, fosters, adoptions, donors and volunteers, instead of spreadsheets and group chats. That is the rest of Fosterling.
The founder
Tori Ferrante
Tori builds software for people who work with animals. She has spent more than seven years in IT systems, including time at Apple, and holds a master's degree in network engineering and cybersecurity. Along the way she has built a run of tools and apps of her own.
