River is a one-year-old Catahoula mix with striking blue eyes and a lean, thirty-five-pound build. He joined our rescue as a young adult who clearly values human company, showing a natural tendency to stick close to his people and offer quiet loyalty. He is currently in that sweet spot between puppy curiosity and adult composure. In his time with us, River has proven to be an easygoing companion who gets along well with other dogs and treats children with a gentle, goofy nature. He enjoys a good game in the yard but is just as happy to settle down once the activity is over. He is a smart, attentive dog who listens well and thrives on a consistent routine. River is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on his vaccinations. He would fit well into an active household that has plenty of room for play and a spot on the rug for him to observe the daily goings-on.
