About Cooper
Cooper is a two-year-old German Shorthair Pointer who came into our care as an owner surrender. He is a gentle, sweet young dog with a medium energy level who is currently settling into his foster home. True to his breed, Cooper loves to explore the world with his nose and is always excited to discover new scents on his daily walks. When he is not busy sniffing out his next adventure, Cooper is happiest right by your side. He has a soft, quiet personality and loves nothing more than curling up next to his favorite people for some scratches and attention. He gets along well with other dogs and is good with children, making him an easygoing companion for a family. Cooper has a few specific preferences, especially when it comes to snack time. He can be a bit picky and is definitely not a fan of venison treats, but he will gladly show off his best manners for some beef liver, beef lung, pork tenderloin, or cheese. Because Paws For Big Hearts is a foster-based rescue, Cooper is living in a private home while he waits for his adoptive family. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to join you on neighborhood walks and quiet evenings at home, please submit an adoption application to meet Cooper.
